Barack Obama Taps Rahm Emanuel as Chief of Staff

President-elect Barack Obama has wasted little time in shaping his administration as the 47-year-old Democrat has reportedly asked Washington veteran Rep. Rahm Emanuel to serve as White House chief of staff.

Emanuel worked closely with Bill Clinton during his administration and became a close ally of Obama during his presidential campaign, a campaign that resulted in an impressive win Tuesday evening.

Emanuel has not yet offered an answer to Obama.
