Britain's Prince Charles "does not remember" a supermodel who claims he flirted with her in 1999.
The heir to the throne has been defended by Clarence House in a statement about his alleged relationship with Tasha de Vasconcelos ten years ago after she claimed he asked her for a "private catwalk show".
The 42-year-old beauty says in her new book 'Beauty As A Weapon' that the "elegant and seductive" prince flirted with her at a series of lavish events between 1999 and 2000. She also claimed he admired her curvaceous figure and his now wife Camilla Parker-Bowles was allegedly jealous when they were in a room together.
However a spokesperson for the prince told the Daily Mail: "'No one here has any recollection of them ever meeting. There is no record of this person.
"We have done further checks with as many people as possible since yesterday. We cannot say 100 per cent that they have never met, but it certainly looks that way."
But model Tasha claims they enjoyed a flirtatious friendship with Charles even asking for private catwalk show at a soiree in 1999 at the Duke of Northumberland's London home.
In an extract from her autobiography she writes: "During the evening, I saw his eyes glance over my necklace, which lit up my face, and to the more intimate attractions of the curves beneath my Versace dress."
The book continues: "'You are magnificent', he dared to utter. 'Would you ever consider a private catwalk show... just for me?'"
She claims the pair were introduced at polo match by his brother Prince Andrew's girlfriend at the time, publicist Aurelia Stephenson.
The beauty also says the prince admired her outfit at a Macmillan cancer charity bash in 2000 which infuriated his date for the evening, Camilla - who he later married in 2005.
