Dave Vitty wants DOI debut over

Dave Vitty wants his 'Dancing On Ice' debut to be over and done with.

The Radio 1 DJ - who will be appearing alongside professional partner Frankie Poultney for the first time in the ITV1 show on Sunday night (16.01.11) - admitted while he is excited about his first skate of the series, he is also "terrified" he will mess up his performance.

Writing on his twitter page, he said: "Exciting isn't it, albeit mildly terrifying at the same time! Just wanna get this first routine done now & hope for the best. Fingers crossed, that's all you can do. I just want to get on with it. (sic)"

Meanwhile, Dave's fellow contestant Dominic Cork - who will also make his 'Dancing On Ice' debut on Sunday - has likened skating to the adrenaline rush he experienced when playing for the England cricket team, saying he "can't wait" for his first appearance.

Dominic tweeted: "I can honestly say that Sunday evening live performance will compare to everything else I have done in cricket. My adrenalin just pumps!!!! I am proud of all my success on the cricket field but Skating is on par with these.

"Just been skating on the Studio ice for the first time. It's amazing. Even Christopher Dean watched our performance. Can't wait now! (sic)"
