Charity Tate to achieve ultimate ambition?

Emmerdale's Charity Tate could be set to achieve her ultimate ambition and become filthy rich.

The manipulative businesswoman - played by Emma Atkins - will see a "massive opportunity" with her loaded boss Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) and will even be prepared to ditch her long-term fiance Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) in the hope of bedding the entrepreneur.

Emma explained: "Charity has openly admitted that she finds Jai attractive because of his business acumen and his manner. I do think they both fancy each other, and their banter helps to achieve results.

"There's a massive opportunity with Jai, and it's the biggest thing that she's been involved in for a long time. Charity has one ultimate ambition: to be rich. Money makes her world go round."

However, Emma's co-star Chris Bisson thinks his alter-ego's looming relationship with the blonde temptress is a "recipe for disaster", which could end in a huge fight with scorned Cain.

He added to Inside Soap magazine: "Jai wants Charity, and we're about to learn a lot more about him in the coming weeks. That pair are a recipe for disaster, but Jai has his eyes open as far as Charity is concerned.

"Although it wouldn't surprise me if they came to blows at some point. Jai can be quite formidable when he wants to be, and I do think the audience is going to be surprised that he has no fear of Cain. There are some wonderful moments coming up as a result - it'll be massive."
