Gwen Stefani will promote L'Oreal Paris Infallible Le Rouge lip colour in her first campaign for the brand.
The singer-and-fashion designer will follow in the footsteps of celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria and Beyonce Knowles who have fronted the brand and says she couldn't be happier.
She is quoted by People magazine as saying: "I can't believe I get to be one of the L'Oreal Paris girls. I love playing dress up, on stage or shooting videos, it's always been one of my favourite parts of being in a band.
"To get to work with such a modern, talented group of people is really exciting. I'm a lucky, lucky girl."
Gwen, 41, - who launched her own fashion line L.A.M.B in 2004 - has previously revealed she has always been obsessed with make-up and even begged her friends to steal their mothers' make-up so she could play with it.
She said: "I've always loved beauty. I was the girl who was like, 'Ask your mom if we can play with clothes or makeup,' And you know what? I'm doing the same thing now that I was doing when I was 10."
"I know I'm vain. I have so much make-up - I'm not kidding. I'm the girl who would wear baggy jeans but didn't forget to put on tons of make-up."
