Lily Allen snubs Piers Morgan TV offer

Lily Allen has turned down the chance to appear on Piers Morgan's 'Life Stories'.

The 25-year-old singer - who has suffered two miscarriages - told the chatshow host she would only consider appearing on the series if he donated £1 million to UK charity Sands, which supports parents who have been affected by the death of their baby.

After the 'Fear' hitmaker was asked to appear on the show, she replied via twitter: "I don't need to enhance my career piers, the only way I would justify coming on your show would be to give money to a charity. a charity that helps women to overcome the kind of grief that I have had to experience.

"i'd do it for a million for SANDS. money, mouth?????????????????? Those are my terms. I've got no interest in coming on your show, you've been asking me for years. (sic)"

However, Piers wasn't prepared to take no for an answer and tried to persuade the star to re-think her decision, saying ITV1 would be prepared to make a five-figure donation to the charity.

He tweeted: "I think that would be a very honourable reason to do the show. No woman should ever have to go through what you went through. Sadly, I know a few who have, and it's heart-breaking.

"I will get ITV to make substantial five figure donation to your charity for the interview. Think about it. You'll change your mind. They always do. (sic)"

Replying with a simple "no", it looks unlikely Lily will be prepared to change her mind.
