Joan Collins wants Gemma Arterton and Chris Pine to star in a film version of 'Dynasty'.
The British legend - who starred as catty character Alexis Carrington in the original TV series in the 1980s - is unlikely to make a return as plans are to set the film in the 1960s, but hopes 'Tamara Drewe' star Gemma would take on the role.
She said: "Gemma has all the qualities that Alexis needs. She's sexy. She looks clever and she's kind of vixenous."
Joan, 77, believes Chris would be great for the lead role of Blake, originally played by John Forsythe.
She said: "I do think Chris Pine would be great as Blake. He's a wonderful actor."
Discussing her own involvement in the project, scripted by Esther and Richard Shapiro, she told E! Online: "I certainly couldn't play her in a prequel in the 1960s. But I always thought they should do it today with Alexis' grandchildren, who about 20 years ago were five and six."
