Natalie Portman enjoying calm pregnancy

Natalie Portman's pregnancy has been "really calm".

The 29-year-old actress - who is expecting her first child this summer with fiance Benjamin Millepied - is delighted the first three months since conception have been smooth and without problems.

She said: "I feel great. I'm through my first trimester. It's been really calm and good."

Though Natalie - who picked up the Best Actress award for her role in 'Black Swan' at the Golden Globe awards yesterday (16.01.11) - is enjoying her pregnancy, she admits she and Benjamin have not yet started reading baby name books to start choosing a moniker for their child.

She said: "I'm due this summer. I've definitely been thinking about it, but I haven't done the book or anything. Open to suggestions!"

While picking up the Best Actress trophy at the Critics' Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Friday (14.01.11), Natalie paid tribute to her parents Avner and Shelley Hershlag - admitting she wants to look after her child as well as they did for her.

She said: "If I am a shadow as good a parent, an echo, then I will be the best in the world, so thank you."
