Pamela Stephenson believes 'Strictly Come Dancing' has given her the body she's always dreamed of.
The 61-year-old psychologist - who is married to comedian Billy Connolly - came third alongside professional dancer James Jordan in the BBC One show last year, and credits the series with doing a better job on her figure than boot camp.
She explained: "Dancing is the number one anti-aging strategy. Without surgery, I am looking better than I have looked in a long time, just through dancing. Body by James Jordan - thank you James!
"I don't think there is anything wrong with being whatever shape or size you want to be, but being on 'Strictly' was like being in a fabulous boot camp and I feel so much better now. I get up in the morning and I just feel great."
Pamela also admitted she is hopeful Billy will join her in her new love for dancing, as she is "panicking" about what will happen to her body now the series is over.
She added to Woman and Home magazine: "I am hoping that Billy might get enthusiastic about dancing because my panic is about what happens when the dancing is over.
"I have a secret fantasy that we might get into Argentine tango because I think he might like it and, actually, I think he would be very good at it. I have dropped a few hints. I think that would be a lovely thing to do together. It would be so romantic."
