Britain's Prince William's wedding will be shown to guests on screens.
Up to 12 plasma screens will be erected around Westminster Abbey - where the 28-year-old prince will marry Kate Middleton on April 29 - to ensure all invited guests can see the couple exchange their vows.
The decision to use the large monitors was made because it was feared those seated at the rear of the 900-year-old building would struggle to see the pair because of the choir.
A source told the Daily Mirror: "The abbey is huge, but ¬basically cut in half by the choir. So your view will be ¬significantly obstructed if you are sitting anywhere other than right under the couple's noses."
TV figures for the royal wedding are expected to exceed the 28.4 million British and 750 million worldwide viewers who watched William's father Prince Charles marry Lady Diana Spencer in 1981.
Yesterday (17.01.11) it was revealed Queen Elizabeth has invited her grandson and his future wife to live in Buckingham Palace with her.
The couple were told that they will have their own self-contained apartment inside the sprawling London residence if they accept because the queen wants them to have a safe and private place to live away from the public gaze after their nuptials.
