SuperCamp will once again take place at nine prestigious college campuses throughout the United States, SuperCamp President Bobbi Deporter announced on Monday, with the addition of San Jose State University.
“We are very happy that SuperCamp has been expanded to a ninth location for 2011,” Ms. Deporter said. “San Jose State University is one of the most beautiful campuses in the country and has over 150 years of rich history.”
San Jose State is conveniently located on 154 acres in downtown San Jose, midway between San Francisco and the Monterey/Carmel area at the sunny southern end of San Francisco Bay, and is easily accessible from area freeways. San Jose State is the third 2011 Junior Forum Campus to be added in California, and guarantees to offer an unforgettable experience.
SuperCamp is the original learning and life skills camp. The very first SuperCamp was held in 1982 in California at Lake Tahoe. A total of 64 students attended the first program. To date, over 56,000 students have graduated from SuperCamp.
The 2011 locations for SuperCamp, Junior Forum, Senior Forum and Quantum U are: Stanford, Brown, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Loyola Marymount, Wake Forest, University of South Florida, San Jose State and Kent State.
