Katie Price fears Alex will return to their house

Katie Price is "terrified" Alex Reid will return to the former couple's marital home.

The 32-year-old beauty - who announced her split from the cage fighter yesterday (19.01.11) after months of speculation about their 11-month marriage - is reportedly desperate to discover whether her former flame has left their mansion in Surrey, South-East England, for good.

An insider said: "She's in tears. Kate has been trying to discover if he intends to return to her house. She has been texting all day but he's refusing to reply.

"She is almost in terror of hearing his key in the door. She has no idea what his intentions are and refuses to tell her."

Alex is believed to have reluctantly moved some of his possessions back to his parents' home in Aldershot, Hampshire but the majority of his belongings are still in the house he shared with Katie and her children Harvey, eight, Junior, five, and three-year-old Princess Tiaamii.

The source added to the Daily Star newspaper: "He came in at 11.30pm on Monday (17.01.11) and just left without a word early yesterday. He popped back at 11pm last night.

"He's using her house as a hotel. He's moved some of his stuff out, but most of his main gear is still in Kate's house."

While officially announcing the couple's split yesterday, Katie confirmed she had asked Alex to leave the marital home, which is specially-equipped to cater to the needs of disabled Harvey.

She explained: "It is true that I have asked Alex to leave the family home and that he will not do so. I would leave myself but the house is equipped for my disabled son Harvey's needs."
