Kanye West, Arcade fire, The Strokes and Kings Of Leon have been announced as headliners for Coachella 2011.
The Californian festival has released its official line up today (19.01.11) and leans toward a guitar heavy bill, with Duran Duran, PJ Harvey, the Black Keys and Interpol also playing.
There are, however, dance heavyweights on the bill, including the Chemical Brothers, Bloody Beetroots, Fedde Le Grand and DJ Sasha also playing at the event.
Other artists also confirmed include Cee Lo Green, Lauryn Hill, Brandon Flowers and Crystal Castles.
Festival fan Skovern wrote on twitter: "Oh my god the @coachella line-up is absolutely incredible. Arcade Fire, Strokes, Kanye, endless others."
However, some fans were ;left disappointed that rumours of French dance duo Daft Punk aren't on the bill.
'Firework' singer Katy Perry tweeted: "Dear @coachella WTF happened to DAFT PUNK?! I wanted to get my TRON ON! Needless to say, I'll still be there w/glowstixxxs. (sic)"
The line up also sees a number of groups reforming, including seminal bass and drums rock duo Death From Above 1979 and Big Audio Dynamite, the band fronted by former The Clash guitarist Mick Jones.
The Coachella festival takes place at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California, from April 15 to 17.
