'Emmerdale' fans are keen for the soap's gay couple to part ways.
Danny Miller - who plays Aaron Livesy in the ITV1 series - explained viewers are calling on his alter-ego to finally dump his boyfriend Jackson Walsh (Marc Silcock).
However, his kind-hearted character is reluctant to call time on their somewhat strained relationship after Jackson was left paralysed in a tragic accident.
Danny explained: "Most viewers want to know when Aaron's going to leave Jackson. It wasn't the response we were hoping for!
"But I can see where they're coming from, because Jackson hasn't been the nicest person recently. Under normal circumstances Aaron would have kicked him into touch."
In spite of the wishes of 'Emmerdale' viewers, the 20-year-old actor admitted if he were a friend of his alter-ego he would be advising Aaron to stick by Jackson during this tough time.
He added to Inside Soap magazine: "If I was Aaron's mate, I'd be telling him to stick by Jackson. If he and Jackson were to split, I wouldn't want him to rush into a new relationship."
