A Russian prison is getting tanning beds installed for inmates to use.
The Butyrskaya Prison in Moscow - which is known for having basic living conditions - is getting the beautifying gadgets to mark its' 240-year anniversary this year.
According to the ITAR-Tass news agency, Victor Dezhurov, who was speaking for the Russian Federal Prison Service, revealed the correctional facility made the decision to get the new equipment to compensate for the inadequate amount of sunlight in the cells.
However, any prisoners who want to get darker skin will have to pay 10 rubles-a-minute for the privilege.
