Sony is gearing up for two new releases and it has been confirmed that on the 27th of January 2011, Sony will be releasing the new PSP2 and that is not all; it will also be releasing the PlayStation Phone Sony Ericsson XPERIA Play’s new debut, the MWC 2011. Sony has been out of the news for a while but apparently it has been tinkering in its cutting edge factory and these products should knock anything else off the product headlines.

Sony is also believed to be getting ready for a new networked entertainment and media set up that includes using these devices along with the applications they have. The plan is to network television, smaller handheld gadgets, and other devices that people use on a daily basis or on the go. These new efforts are being taken to counter balance the effect of Apple and Nintendo’s fortunate luck nowadays, or so say sources. Sony’s two new products are again pushing the envelope which will only drive the competition to innovate further on their end.
