AP Top 25 College Football Scores: #6 Oklahoma Sooners Embarrass Texas A&M in Big 12 Battle

Sam Bradford was 22/33 passing for 320 yards and four touchdowns, Chris Brown rushed for 117 yards and three TDs and Ryan Broyles had five receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown as the #6 Oklahoma Sooners (9-1, 5-1) collected 653 yards of total offense in their 66-28 blowout of the Texas A&M Aggies (4-6, 2-4) in a Big 12 showdown.

Oklahoma was all over the Aggies in the first quarter as Bradford scored on a 15-yard run, hit DeMarco Murray on a 5-yard toss and then Brown scored from 22 yards out for a 21-0 lead.

The Sooners extended that lead to 28-0 in the second quarter when Bradford hit Matt Clapp on a 28-yard touchdown pass but the Aggies responded with a pair of TDs as Jerrod Johnson found Jamie McCoy on a 20-yard touchdown pass and then Johnson scored on a keeper from 3 yards out to pull Texas A&M to within 28-14.

Brown then scored his second touchdown of the game on a 5-yard run and Jimmy Stevens closed the opening half with a 42-yard field goal to pad the lead at 38-14.

The third quarter was no better for the Aggies as the Sooner put the ball in the endzone four times as Bradford hit Broyles on a 23-yard TD, Brown scored his third TD of the game on a 28-yard run, Juaquin Iglesias pulled in a 37-yard TD from Bradford and Dominique Franks returned a fumble 39 yards for a touchdown.

Oklahoma will have a week off before facing Texas Tech in what will shape the Big 12 South and Texas A&M takes on Baylor next week.
