Smartphone Shootout!

Two New RIM OS Phones, Can Either Compete w/ iPhone 4?

"RIM marked an eventful Monday by providing a new teaser for BlackBerry OS 6.0 (video below) and launching its own rough equivalent to Apple's Find My iPhone. The new demo avoids the marketing heavy spin of the first video and shows some of the core features by themselves, such as the multiple home screens, new multi-touch interface, and revamped media player. Among the more distinct details are a demo of an iChat-like BlackBerry Messenger client, RSS feed support in the new WebKit-based browser and universal search with a new keyboard design."

Your all in one portable e-mail/entertainment solution. Not only is the RIM Blackberry Torch 9800 a text messaging smartphone, but it's also a GPS, RSS feed reader, iChat messaging device, mobile web Internet browser, MP3 player, camera, television, video recoreder all rolled into one!

Below is a comment made by a recent customer who purchased the Blackberry RIM OS 6 Torch smartphone

"Pros: I like buttons I can touch. I also like the "ball" which is now a touch screen. I use it as a tether and it works great. It has the advantages of a touch screen and still buttons I can push.

Cons: It only has 4 icons available at all times while my Bold had 5. And of course there are a limited number of apps that I can download.

Summary: Its a great phone and I love it. Easy to use and great for what I need. I would recommend it for anyone that wants a phone that works for you. Big screen, lightweight and and has big touch screen and real buttons. I sell real estate and I use it all the time. There is nothing that I need that it doesn't do for me. It has a fast browser, good size and weight and good sound system. It is perfect for me."
