NFL Scores Week 10: New York Jets Trounce St. Louis Rams for Third Straight Win

Thomas Jones rushed for 149 yards and three touchdowns, Brett Favre was 14/19 passing for 167 yards and a TD and the New York Jets (6-3) defense forced five turnovers in a 47-3 blasting of the St. Louis Rams (2-7) on Sunday.

Jones got things started early for the Jets as he scored on a 13-yard run in the opening quarter and after Jay Feely connected from 22-yards out Calvin Pace collected a fumble and went 50 yards for a touchdown as New York carried a 17-0 lead into the second quarter.

It only got worse for the Rams in the second frame as Jones scored from 2-yards out, Favre hit Dustin Keller on a one-yard touchdown toss and Feely booted field goals of 49, 46 and 55-yards as the Jets led 40-0 at halftime.

St. Louis finally got on the board in the third quarter after Josh Brown kicked a 37-yard field goal but it was Jones who wrapped up the scoring as he crossed the goal line from 6-yards out in the fourth for his third TD of the game.
