Ricky Williams rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown, Chad Pennington was 22/36 passing for 209 yards and a touchdown and Ted Ginn Jr. had 67 yards receiving and a TD as the Miami Dolphins (5-4) did just enough to hold off the Seattle Seahawks (2-7) 21-19 on Sunday.
The Dolphins jumped to a 14-0 lead in the first half as Pennington hit Ginn on a 39-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter and Williams found a hole and went 51-yards for a TD in the second but the Seahawks were able to cut their deficit in half when Jordan Babineaux picked off Pennington and went 35-yards for a touchdown.
Olindo Mare booted a pair of field goals for the only scoring in the third quarter and Seattle was within 14-13 heading into the fourth quarter but Ronnie Brown scored on a 16-yard run to give the Dolphins some breathing room at 21-13. Seattle manage to find the endzone with just under three minutes left in the game as Seneca Wallace hit Koren Robinson on a 3-yard toss but the Seahawks two-point attempt failed and the Dolphins held on for the win.
