Gabriel Aubry tired of being 'bossed around' by Halle Berry

Gabriel Aubry reportedly asked to be officially recognised as the father of his two-year-old daughter Nahla, because he is tired of her mother Halle Berry telling him what to do.

The 35-year-old model - who split from the 'Catwoman' actress in April after dating for five years - filed papers at Los Angeles Superior Court on December 30 requesting the recognition because he wishes to move on with his life with minimal fuss.

A friend said: "Gabriel is one of the most laid-back, nicest guys that I know, but in the end he just got sick of being bossed around and told what to do by his ex-girlfriend."

The friend claimed 44-year-old Halle - who is believed to be in a relationship with her 'Dark Tide' co-star Olivier Martinez - angered her former lover by asking him to date someone less famous after he was spotted out with socialite Kim Kardashian.

The friend added to website RadarOnline.com: "She was particularly angry that he had been so public, even going to a Lakers game one time, and she totally berated him, basically telling him that if he has to date, just date a nobody waitress that nobody will care about.'

"It's completely hypocritical as well as she has been dating Olivier Martinez since last summer."
