A Yorkshire terrier dog has been terrorising postmen in England.
Peggy - who is just six inches long - has allegedly been biting and attacking postal workers in Northampton resulting in the Royal Mail suspending all deliveries to Dorset Gardens since December 7.
The angry mutt has been accused of being a "vicious little thing" by residents and the pooch's owners the Joyce family have been threatened with eviction from their property unless they get rid of their pet.
But Patrick Joyce, 25, said: "The house is full of kids ... she would never harm them. She's just a harmless little thing."
Despite Patrick's protestations, the council has received several complaints the tiny canine is out of control and coupled with the local postal strike it seems Peggy's days could be numbered.
A Royal Mail spokesman said: "We are waiting for confirmation that the dog has been removed from the address in Dorset Gardens and once we are satisfied this has been done, and our staff can work safely, we will reinstate deliveries. Unfortunately, animal attacks are a hazard faced by our employees."
