Monday Night Football Schedule: Arizona Cardinals Take on San Francisco 49ers

The Arizona Cardinals will host the San Francisco 49ers in an NFC West battle on Monday Night Football at 8pm on ESPN.

The Cardinals (5-3) are currently atop the NFC West. A big part of their success has been their great offense. The Cardinals lead the NFL in scoring offense (29.3) and are second in passing offense (293.5 ypg) and third in total offense (386.9 ypg).

Kurt Warner has started every game this season, contrary to his prior role as a backup to Matt Leinart. Leinart has not thrown a pass all season. Warner, on the other hand, has utilized the league's best wide receiver duo of Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin.

The 49ers are undergoing a change as new head coach Mike Singletary gets used to his new position. The Niners have struggled the last couple of years, but Singletary's hiring signals a change in the right direction.

Singletary had to reprimand star tight end Vernon Davis after a bone-headed play during their game against Seattle on Oct. 26. The move to kick Davis out of the game was well-received by the team as a way to evoke his coaching personality immediately.
