Joe Scarborough, the host of "Morning Joe" on MSNBC, dropped the "f-bomb" on his show Monday on accident.
Scarborough and his guests were involved in a discussion about President-Elect Barack Obama and his selection of Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-IL) to be a part of his Transition team.
"[Obama and Emanuel] are decent, steady men," said Scarborough, "who don't go around flipping people off or screaming 'f*ck you' at the top of their lungs."
The "f-bomb" caused a raucous in the studio as Scarborough continued to give his opinion without any cognizance of his use of the "f-word".
It took him almost a full minute to realize what he said and was in complete shock that he said the "f-word" on TV.
"Great apologies if I said the word and not the letter," said Scarborough. "My wife is going to kill me when I get home. I am so sorry. Great apologies." Before closing out the segment, Scarborough said "Now Chuck Todd, I'm about to go get some soap."
Ironically, Scarborough was a staunch advocate on challenging the FCC for several issues, such as Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction scandal during the Super Bowl in 2004 and Bono's use of the "f-word" on TV years ago.
