Taking an iron bar to his enemy's head after his Valentine's Day (14.02.11) blessing, Peter says: "I think it's time we had a little chat. I'm going to kill you Nick. I've nothing to lose. My wife's cheated on me, my dad thinks I'm back on the booze and I can't bear to tell my son that another man has bedded his new mum.
"Whatever sentence I get, the days will fly by knowing I've killed a pathetic specimen like you."
A terrified Nick (Ben Price) begs Peter - who is dad to adorable Simon (Alex Bain) - to think about the consequences his violent actions could have on his young son.
Peter replies: "I reckon they'll call it a crime of passion."
While naughty Nick desperately attempts to make a run for the door, Peter deals him a huge blow to his head, before leaving him surrounded by a pool of blood.
