Katy Perry fan Carlotta Gherzi

Designer Carlotta Gherzi would love to dress Katy Perry.

The Sado founder's label is loved by celebrities such as Chloe Sevigny, Cheryl Cole and actress-and-fashion designer Sienna Miller but Carlotta thinks her clothes would look best on the 'Firework' singer with 'Black Swan' star Natalie Portman another favourite thanks to her "star" quality.

She said: "I would like to dress Katy Perry as she is classic but yet eccentric - and I think fit-wise my dresses will embrace her beauty even more.

"Natalie Portman too, because she is classy but young and she embraces all the qualities a true star has."

The American University in London graduate - who is famous for her Art Deco inspired designs - also loves to see Sienna and Cheryl wearing her clothes, and thinks they suit the stars' personalities.

She explained to vogue.com: "Sienna Miller seemed to love the print designs; all the garments she wore were printed and very her style. Cheryl Cole loved the textured shorts which were body-con; quirky but very suitable for her glamorous busy lifestyle."

Now Charlotte - who is popular with the Russian market - is planning to turn her attention to the international arena with plans to showcase during the upcoming London Fashion Week and "to get more into the international trade mill".
