Nicole Scherzinger's unknown dolls

Nicole Scherzinger "wasn't sure" what she was signing up for when she agreed to front the Pussycat Dolls.

The 32-year-old singer - who hasn't recorded with the group since 2009, and is thought to have left amid rumours of in-fighting - admitted she was unaware of what a big commitment being in the girl band would be, but hopes her fellow members aren't jealous of the success she has gone on to achieve.

She explained to Recognise magazine: "The Pussycat Dolls was a huge commitment and I wasn't quite sure for what I was signing up for.

"I do miss them. We grew so much together over five years and I learnt a lot from them. I carry their energy with me onstage.

"I hope the girls are not jealous of me because I'm only positive. I wish them the best in their success and happiness. The only place I'm ever extreme or dangerous is on stage. I mess up or don't succeed, everybody is looking just at me."

Since starring in Pussycat Dolls alongside Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta, Kimberly Wyatt, Ashley Roberts and Melody Thornton, Nicole has embarked on a solo career, and released her debut single 'Poison', which she says was actually chosen by her Formula One champion boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton.

Nicole added: "Lewis actually picked 'Poison' as the first single! I am blessed to have people believe in me."
