According to Study, Students Learn Little in College

For years, SuperCamp has been dedicated to teaching students the learning and life skills they need to thrive.  In just 7 to 10 days, middle and high schoolers are empowered with skills that will change the way they approach learning.

The modern school structure does not always give students the proper tools to approach complex situations.

A study of more than 2,300 undergraduates found 45% of students show no significant improvement in the key measures of critical thinking, complex reasoning and writing by the end of their sophomore years.

These statistics help to highlight some of the main reasons that SuperCamp has chosen to focus so much of its curriculum towards critical thinking training and writing.  Not only do college students struggle to improve their critical thinking and reasoning, but at the high school level this can be one of the most overlooked areas of study.

SuperCamp is the world leader in learning and life skills training, with over 56,000 graduates in 30 years. In 2011, SuperCamp is being offered at nine prestigious schools in the U.S. between late June and late August. Schools include UCLA, Stanford, Brown and Wake Forest, among others.

Parents should register their son or daughter in January to ensure first choice in dates and location. More information is available by calling 800-285-3276.
