Kate Garraway once had to go to work in her slippers.
The 'Daybreak' presenter admitted she was once forced to steal from her weather forecaster friend Clare Nasir's wardrobe when she didn't go home after partying all night at the BRIT awards.
Kate explained: "I'd had a great night dancing in my swanky high boots, but I didn't live in London and it was too late to go home. I ended up back at Clare Nasir's house, but we only had 30 minutes to shower before leaving for work.
"Unfortunately, my feet had swollen up so much that I couldn't get my boots back on, so I had to go in Clare's slippers. I was shattered but I certainly learned my lesson."
The 43-year-old star also confessed she was once embarrassed when she had a wardrobe malfunction live on TV when she spotted a security tag on her dress she had previously forgotten to remove.
She added: "I felt something on my leg and realised I still had the security tag on my dress. It looked like a really weird lump, but I was too scared to rip it off in case I got covered in purple dye."
