Kate Middleton's wedding diet

Britain's Kate Middleton is trying to gain weight before her wedding.

Kate, 29, is reportedly so worried about losing her curves before her April 29 nuptials to Prince William she plans follow a high carbohydrate diet in a bid to put on weight.

A friend of size six Kate told Britain's Now magazine: "Kate's shed weight rushing around planning the wedding.

'But she's worried that she'll lose her curves completely, so she's introducing a lot more carbs into her diet.

"We're not talking huge bowls of spaghetti, but certainly wholemeal toast, oatcakes, porridge and cereals."

Kate - who likes to keep fit with regular high-energy gym workouts- is now working alongside a nutritionist who has advised her to eat five to six times a day.

The source added: "She's continuing with her cardiovascular regime of running and cycling, but wants curves, which means easing off the repetitive weights,' said the source.

"For someone who's as active as Kate, it isn't easy to put on weight - she seems to burn calories without even trying."

In December it was reported Kate had started an intense fitness regime ahead of her nuptials which - as well as jogging, cycling and lifting weights - included sessions on a rowing machine, which burns off 500 calories an hour.
