Missing Arizona Mother, Liliana Beatrice Iboa, and Daughter Released by Captors

The intense search for a missing Arizona mother and her three-year-old daughter is over after their captors who had been holding them for ransom opted to release the two.

Liliana Beatrice Iboa, 20, and her daughter, Karen Bianay Cervantes, were abducted from their Avondale, AZ home on Friday evening.

According to reports the captors released the two in north Phoenix late Monday night and Iboa then flagged down a car, returned home and called police.

Police are continuing to search for the abductors who had demanded $100,000 for the release of Iboa and her daughter.

Details of the abduction remain unclear; Iboa’s husband didn’t report the two missing right away, telling police he was afraid his family would be hurt.
