PETE’S PLUMBING INC. HELPS RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMERS “GO GREEN” WITH HOME INSPECTIONS

Assesses Water Usage and Calculates Water Savings

Pete’s Plumbing Inc., a family-owned and operated full-service residential and commercial plumbing company that serves Alpharetta, Georgia and nearby areas, is gearing up for the spring season by focusing on its eco-plumbing services, including home inspections, green plumbing assessments of water usage, and water savings calculations from installation of energy-efficient and green plumbing devices.

Pete’s Plumbing has highly trained and skilled green plumbing professionals that conduct green assessments and in-home water conservation assessments during the week from Monday to Friday. The assessment includes an examination of all plumbing fixtures. From there, the plumbing professionals will provide specific recommendations about how to make each home’s plumbing system more eco-friendly.  The assessment also provides a calculation in terms of money saved on making adjustments to water usage and the return on investment (in time) if choosing to install new green plumbing fixtures. The technicians also offer homeowners specific recommendations about how to change their water consumption habits.

Julie Lippitt, President of Pete’s Plumbing, said, “We believe the in-home assessments provide homeowners with a way to quantify their savings while also making a difference in terms of their environmental impact. Customers would be surprised but even making even small changes can significantly save water. While some changes do involve plumbing fixtures and equipment, homeowners can also be proactive with lifestyle changes like shorter showers, full loads of laundry in the washing machine, and sweeping versus hosing everything down.”

Lippitt added, “‘Green’ Eco-friendly plumbing products focus primarily on water conservation. They use considerably less water than older products. We carry a full range of products manufactured by names you can trust like Kohler, Delta and Moen. Products, such as high-efficiency toilets, faucets, showerheads, and spray rinse valves as well as energy-efficient tank less and on-demand water heaters provide a great and fast return on investment in terms of lower water and energy bills. For example, just replacing an aerator in a kitchen or bathroom faucet is fairly inexpensive and can deliver up to 30% water savings while not impacting water pressure or the overall performance. Our ongoing special offer of $100 of installation on all water heaters from January to March is an extra incentive to consider having an assessment and going green.”

The in-home inspections and water conservation assessments are a great way to start off the New Year in terms of resolving to use less water, save money, and help the planet.  It also provides a way to check on the overall wear and tear of existing plumbing devices and learn more about the eco-plumbing options now available. Contact Pete’s Plumbing for more information or to set up an appointment for their eco-friendly in-home inspections.
