Photos: Cindy McCain Reportedly Having Affair on John McCain
Cindy Hensley McCain, the wife of Sen. John McCain, has been rumored to be having an affair after photos emerged in the tabloid National Enquirer on Wednesday.
The rumored affair was reported just one week after her husband John, 72, lost the 2008 presidential election to Democratic candidate Sen. Barack Obama.
McCain, 54, was pictured kissing another man and the photo was sent to the Enquirer, who then published it and began investigating. According to their sources, she has been spotted with the mysterious paramour across her hometown of Phoenix.
The photo was taken on April 1, 2006 as the two were leaving the Tempe Music Festival, according to the person who took the picture. A second witness spotted the two at the Moody Blues concert. However, the reports did not discuss how long McCain has been rumored of cheating on her husband.
McCain was caught in a prescription drug scandal years ago as she lied about her addiction in several interviews. She had an addiction of up to a 50 pills a day from 1989 to 1992. In 1994, she was forced to dissolve her American Voluntary Medical Team charity when she confessed she had stolen pills from the organization.
It has been known that she met McCain in a bar and the two began dating while he was still married to his first wife Carol. Cindy and John were married in May 1980, just one month after his divorce with Carol was finalized.
