Billie Piper constantly feels "guilty" about being a working mum.
The 28-year-old actress - who has a two-year-old son Winston with husband Laurence Fox - admitted at times she finds it difficult to balance her career with the demands of her son.
She explained: "I'm really enjoying it and being a mum is so much fun, albeit exhausting, too. It's lovely watching Winston change. He does lark around and he is talking a lot. His first word was, 'no'. He now knows how to say, 'Mummy' and the minute they learn that word is when the world of pain starts.
"When you are leaving the house and they shout, 'Mummy', that's when the guilty feelings set in. I don't think I can ever stop feeling guilty, but there are times when I can manage it and times when I can't."
Despite her feelings of guilt towards Winston, Billie is still keen to have a big family one day.
She added in an interview with new! magazine: " I am one of four and I always thought I would have a big family. Who knows what will happen? It's funny because when you get engaged, everyone asks when you are marrying.
"Then when you have a child, they ask when you are going to have a second one. We will just have to wait and see."
