Georgia May Jagger designs for Hudson

Georgia May Jagger was heavily involved in designing her new collection for Hudson jeans.

The 19-year-old rising catwalk star - who is also the face of Hudson jeans - proposed the concept of her own designs for the brand aptly named Hudson by Georgia May Jagger and worked closely with head designer and creative director Benjamin Taverniti to develop the new line.

Representatives from the label told People that the ambitious model submitted sketches and oversaw the design process leading to five styles in a range of washes.

Georgia said: "My collection has a whole new cut. We are using new kinds of stretch denim fabrics exclusively developed for us which make them very comfortable.

"All the designs have skinny leg openings and are a mid-rise which is great for us shorter girls and also very flattering."

Georgia is rapidly building a name for herself among the fashion elite with Chanel supremo Karl Lagerfeld saying last year she is the perfect choice to model the brand.

He said: "Miss Jagger is the modern girl. She is the girl of today. There is a total identification between her and the clothes. They could be her clothes. She is totally at home in Chanel."

Georgia - the daughter of Rolling Stones frontman Sir Mick Jagger and former model Jerry Hall -

was named Model of the Year at last year's British Fashion Awards.
