Britain's Queen Elizabeth will not meet Kate Middleton's parents until the royal wedding.
The monarch has never met Carole and Michael Middleton and a royal spokesperson admitted she has no plans to until Kate marries her grandson Prince William on April 29th.
The spokesperson said: "This is not a snub. It is just that the queen has not yet felt the need to meet Miss Middleton's parents. At present there are no plans for her to do so in the run-up to the wedding, but if she chooses to do so, it will be a private matter."
Meanwhile it has been revealed 29-year-old Kate has quit her role as project manager at her parents' party planning company in order to focus on planning her wedding.
A spokesperson said the future princess quit to "'concentrate full-time on preparing to become a member of the royal family".
A royal aide added: "She has handed over her work to colleagues and is now preparing for her future life."
However a friend has revealed Kate's former role will help her to plan her dream wedding on April 29.
The pal told Hello! magazine: "Catherine is a naturally creative individual and has spent her professional life in the creative industries having worked at Jigsaw, then as a website designer, photographer, marketer and events organiser. Skills she has built up in her working life translate naturally to organising a wedding."
