Attendees of the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida this week will learn about the U.S. Putting Tour as they make their way through the massive exhibit halls that house the golf industry's biggest annual convention.
"We have two messages for show attendees," said the USPT's Jim Hartley. "One, we'll tell club professionals why they should hold USPT qualifying events at their club and, two, we'll tell corporate sponsors why they should sponsor the USPT and the tour championship."
PGA professionals at golf clubs throughout the U.S. can hold USPT
putting events on their practice greens to qualify golfers for the USPT Tour Championship scheduled for late September in San Diego.
Companies and brands interested in reaching a golfer demographic can choose from among a number of
golf sponsorship opportunities with the U.S. Putting Tour, including title sponsorship and presenting sponsorship of the tour and the tour championship. Each sponsorship includes a number of rights and benefits that can be customized for the sponsor's specific marketing and sales needs.
The
putting championship also will have a presence at this week's PGA TOUR event, the Farmers Insurance Open in San Diego.
More information on sponsorships, hosting USPT qualifying events and entering the USPT Tour Championship can be found at the USPT officical website or by emailing info@usputtingtour.com.
