Jessie J has been approached by Simon Cowell.
The 'Do It Like A Dude' hitmaker revealed she has been in talks to work with the TV mogul, who is head judge on talent search show 'The X Factor' - which airs annually in the UK and is set to start in the US later this year.
Speaking to The UK's Kiss FM radio station, she said: "I don't really have any big, big people that I'm working with at the moment, although I did have a very interesting conversation with Mr Simon Cowell.
"He found out about me a little while ago and wanted me to perform at 'The X Factor' final after he saw the 'Mama Knows Best' video on YouTube.
"He was like, 'We have to find three minutes for this girl,' but unfortunately they couldn't. It was really nice of him to ring, so you never know what will come out of it."
The singer also gave her advice for aspiring DJs who want to enter the station's current Kiss Chosen One competition, which is looking for a new presenter for the station.
She added: "Humour always goes a along way with me on the radio if you want to be a presenter.
"Voices, I would constantly do different voices and accents. Just remember to be yourself and interesting."
To find out more information on the competition, hopefuls should visit the station's website at www.totalkiss.com.
'Jessie's album 'Who You Are' is released on March 28.
