Hollyoaks 'getting in way' of Jennifer Metcalfe's DOI training

'Hollyoaks' is getting in the way of Jennifer Metcalfe's 'Dancing on Ice' schedule.

The 27-year-old actress - who plays feisty Mercedes McQueen in the Channel 4 soap - admitted she is finding training for the ITV1 skating show "hard" because her work commitments prevent her from practising as much as she should.

She said: "I'm really busy with 'Hollyoaks' and there's not much chance for me to train on the ice, so the last few weeks have been really hard."

The brunette beauty - who is dating her hunky 'Dancing on Ice' partner Sylvain Longchambon - explained she has been getting up at 5.30am to train and the pressure is getting to her so much, she's having nightmares about messing up live on TV.

She explained to more! magazine: "I had a horrible dream abut skating on live TV. I was standing there and my skates had gone, my tights had gone and I was just stood in this little dress.

"It's my worst nightmare to mess up on the show as I absolutely love it."
