Barack Obama Said to be Considering Hillary Clinton for Secretary of State

According to an NBC News report President-elect Barack Obama is considering his one-time fierce Democratic rival Hillary Clinton for the position of Secretary of State.

Obama and Clinton traded shots during the Democratic primaries and their relationship appeared to polarize the party as many Clinton supporters vowed to vote for Republican candidate John McCain in the presidential election, a vow that never panned out.

Obama has yet to mention any names as the report cited two unnamed advisers as the source of the information.

Along with Hillary Clinton there have been several other high-profile names floated as potential candidates for Secretary of State, among them John Kerry, Sam Nunn, Chuck Hagel and Bill Richardson
