Sir Elton John says becoming a father has brought him closer to his husband.
The 63-year-old singer and his long-term partner David Furnish became parents to Zachary - who was born through a surrogate mother last month - and the legendary entertainer feels "blessed" by his good fortune.
He said: "It's made me very relaxed, it's definitely brought David and I closer together. We were pretty close together anyway - we have been together 17 years - but it's definitely brought us closer together.
"It seems to be that everything in my life is so wonderful. I have a wonderful partner, an incredible career, fantastic friends, I have my health and I have a child. I'm the most blessed person in the world I think, I pinch myself sometimes and think, 'God,' you know?"
The 'Crocodile Rock' hitmaker is finding fatherhood "enchanting" but admits the experience is made easier because Zachary is so well behaved.
He told website Hollyscoop: "It's been an enchanting and incredible experience more so than I could ever imagine. I knew it was going to be wonderful. l don't think anything prepares you for the joy that a young baby can give you.
"He has been such a good child - he cries when he's hungry, he cries when he wants to be changed, he cries when he has wind and we know what to do with him, we know what to do when they cry. He's a little blank canvas and he is just adorable."
Although Elton and David, 48, are enjoying fatherhood, they currently have no plans to have any more children.
Elton added: "I haven't thought about having more. We just had this one."
