At Least 60 Killed in Burkina Faso after Passenger Bus Collides with Truck

At least 60 people have been killed in Burkina Faso after a passenger bus slammed into a truck carrying sugar and the two vehicles burst into flames.

 

According to officials several of those inside the bus were trapped by the flames and had no chance to escape. News reports have indicated the bus had been carrying 80 passengers and that the 60 dead could rise.

 

The bus had been traveling to the Ivory Coast when it collided with the sugar truck near the town of Boromo.
