NFL Scores Week 11: Denver Broncos Stage Fourth Quarter Comeback Over Atlanta Falcons

Jay Cutler threw for 216 yards and a touchdown, Brandon Marshall had 89 yards receiving on six receptions and Daniel Graham hauled in the game-winning TD on a 9-yard toss from Cutler as the Denver Broncos (6-4) staged a fourth quarter comeback to beat the Atlanta Falcons (6-4) 24-20 on Sunday for their second straight win.

The Broncos got on the board on their first possession of the game after Peyton Hillis scored on a 7-yard run up the middle but the Falcons came back and after Jason Elam connected on a pair of field goals Michael Turner scored on a 9-yard run and Atlanta carried a 13-7 lead into halftime.

Hillis gave the Broncos the lead once again in the third quarter when he pounded in from 2-yards out and the lead stood until the fourth quarter. Matt Prater then extended the lead to 17-13 with a 20-yard field goal but the Falcons reclaimed the lead on Turner’s 28-yard run.

Cutler then led the Broncos down the field midway through the fourth and found Graham on the 9-yard strike for the 24-20 lead. Atlanta had one more shot at the win but a long ball from Matt Ryan to Roddy White fell through his hands and on fourth down Ryan’s final pass sailed out of bounds to give the win to Denver.
