Zara Phillips will marry Mike Tindall in Edinburgh on July 30.
Zara - daughter of Britain's Princess Anne, and 13th in line to the British throne - has not confirmed the date of her wedding to the England rugby player, but sources at Canongate Kirk church in Edinburgh, Scotland, confirmed both they and Queen's Elizabeth II's residence in Edinburgh, Holyroodhouse will be closed on July 30.
The last royal to wed in Scotland was Zara's mother, Princess Anne.
A spokesman for the Royal Collection, which runs the palace, told the Daily Express: "The palace is a working palace and hosts many royal engagements throughout the year. So we never disclose why it will be closed to the public."
Canongate Kirk has a long standing association with the royal family, and is where the queen worships when she is at Holyroodhouse.
Show jumper Zara, 29, and Mike, 32 became engaged on December 21 and live together in the English county of Gloucestershire.
The wedding is expected to be one of the first public appearances by Prince William and Kate Middleton, after their wedding on April 29.
