Britain's Queen Elizabeth has been introduced to her first great-grandchild.
Peter Phillips - the son of Princess Anne and her first husband Captain Mark Phillips - and his Canadian-born wife Autumn live in Hong Kong with their daughter Savannah who was born in December and the couple visited the monarch in Norfolk at the weekend so she could meet her great-granddaughter.
A source - who witnessed the queen, Prince Philip, Princess Anne, her husband Vice-Admiral Timothy Laurence and the new parents attending a church service on the royal estate yesterday (30.01.11) told EDP24: "It was a brilliant surprise to see them walking to church and you don't get too many opportunities to see that group together.
"It looked like Peter and Autumn were really enjoying their stay in Norfolk and it was great to see them looking so happy."
The baby is a first child for Peter and Autumn, first grandchild for Princess Anne and the first great-grandchild for Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, who revealed they were "delighted" at the birth.
A statement from Buckingham Palace at the time said: "The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal, Captain Mark Phillips and Autumn's family have been informed and are delighted with the news."
Savannah has jumped ahead of her aunt, Zara Phillips - who will marry rugby ace Mike Tindall in Edinburgh in July - to become eighth in line for the British throne.
Her birth means Queen Elizabeth has become the first monarch to be a great-grandparent since Queen Victoria over a century ago.
