Dominic Cork happy with DOI vote

Dominic Cork thinks his fellow celebrities were right to vote him off 'Dancing On Ice' last night (30.01.11).

The England cricketer became the sixth celebrity to leave the show after the other contestants were forced to choose between him and TV presenter Jeff Brazier but Dominic thinks they made the correct choice.

Asked if he felt the decision was right, Dominic told This Morning: "I think so yes. Because if I'm honest, yes, I would have probably gone because Jeff is probably a stronger skater at the moment.

"It was tough by everybody, you could see the emotion, the raw emotion, and in a way we just felt like we got the easy option because we didn't have to choose."

Dominic revealed he was most upset to say goodbye to his professional skating partner Alexandra Schauman and added he would even miss the outfits.

He said: "I just really embraced the whole culture of Dancing on Ice, the outfits, even the nails - they're off this morning thank goodness, I peeled them off. But everything about the show was fantastic and having Alexandra as a partner was just perfect for me."

"I'm being really honest - she's been fantastic. And the one most emotional thing about it is - I'll miss her."
