Billie Piper isn't sure if she would have agreed to star in 'Secret Diary of a Call Girl' if she had been married.
The actress agreed to take on the role of high-class prostitute Belle De Jour in the ITV2 show - which starts its fourth series on ITV2 tonight (01.02.11) - before she tied the knot with Laurence Fox and admits she may have turned it down if she'd been a married woman.
Billie - who has a two-year-old son Winston with Laurence - told Psychologies magazine: "The show's not soft porn; it's not realistic. It's funny. Having said that, I started doing 'Secret Diary' before I was even married to Laurence.
"I wonder now if I'd choose it again, now that I have a child and a husband.
"I would think about it for longer than I did when I was first offered the role. But I just don't know what my decision would be."
The 28-year-old beauty says she took on the role because she wanted to show a different side to her after playing The Doctor's assistant Rose Tyler in 'Doctor Who'.
She said: "When I took the part I had just finished 'Doctor Who' and I wanted to do something really different, not to upset people or prove a point, but because it's fun and interesting and you learn something from every different character that you play. But some people were very critical of me for that."
The full interview with Billie appears in the new issue of Psychologies magazine, which goes on sale tomorrow (02.02.11).
