Foo Fighters release second snippet

Foo Fighters have released a second preview snippet from their new album.

The group had recently previewed a clip from the opener of their seventh album, 'Bridge Burning', and have now followed it up with a second and confirmed the album will be released on April 11.

The as-yet-untitled record has been recorded at frontman Dave Grohl's house, was produced by Butch Vig and features a guest appearance by Dave's former bandmate in grunge group Nirvana Krist Novoselic.

The band - which also features Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear - have debuted the album, which they have described as their heaviest yet, by playing through it in its entirety live at a surprise gig on January 28 in Santa Barbara, California.

Speaking about the recording, Dave said last year: "When we were demoing, we came up with all this heavy s**t so I said in an interview 'this is going to be our heaviest record yet'.

"Butch saw it and then when I'd approach him with a new song idea, he'd say, 'This doesn't rock enough, no. Next' I'd have to show him another one."

Track titles which have been confirmed include 'A Matter', 'These Days', 'I Should Have Known' and 'Miss The Misery'.
