A man is facing charges after causing a car accident on Wednesday afternoon in Alexander.
Justin Neureuter, 22, of Corfu, was heading northbound with a 17-year-old passenger, Cassandra Koepp, of Alexander, when he lost control of his car and it crossed the center line of the road.
Neureuter’s vehicle then collided with 54-year-old Deborah Buckenmeyer of Attica’s car.
Koepp incurred serious injuries and had to be extricated from the vehicle using the Jaws of Life. She was then transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Neither Neureuter nor Buckenmeyer were injured.
Neureuter is facing numerous charges, including failing to keep right, driving with a suspended license and failure to wear a seatbelt.
