'Hollyoaks' Theresa McQueen is left fighting for her life after a run in with Kyle Ryder leaves her badly injured.
The bubbly blonde - portrayed by actress Jorgie Porter - is kidnapped by the villain (Neil Toon), who is out from prison and hell-bent on getting revenge for her allowing him to take the rap for killing Calvin Valentine (Ricky Whittle).
Jorgie said: "Theresa thinks he wants to kill her. He knows she set him up and he's had a long time to sit in prison and think about what he's going to do to her."
When her friends come to her rescue, they end up in a bad state - Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) winds up knocked out, while D.C. Ethan Scott (Craig Vye) winds up plunging down an empty life shaft.
One person ends up dead, while Theresa's baby Angel ends up fighting for her life on a ventilator.
Despite the drama on set, all of the stars enjoyed the extreme situations they found themselves in and did all of their own stunts.
Jorgie added: "It was incredible as they built this 80ft shaft and we had to wear harnesses. I loved it. I could have hung on a rope all day."
The 23-year-old actress recently admitted filming harrowing scenes on the Channel 4 soap left her leaving the set in tears on occasions.
She said: ""It's been a very eventful few months. Theresa got pregnant by Calvin, killed him and then blamed it on another guy that went to prison. There have been some great storylines that have been amazing for me to play.
"It can be incredibly draining though. I go home sometimes and just cry. I bawl for no reason and then I realise it's because I've been crying non-stop on set for four months so that's probably got something to do with it."
